Scott Badger

KPI Direct is led by Scott Badger, who brings a wealth of experience in financial management, technology implementation, strategic planning, profitability analysis, operations management and process improvement. Previous to founding KPI Direct in 2006, Scott served as the chief executive of Advanced Metabolics, a specialized health and wellness product marketing company where he recruited capital, restructured operations, launched new products and turned this closely held, private company, into a profitable, multi-million dollar business.
Scott founded KPI Direct in 2006 with a simple conviction: when business owners understand their numbers, they make better decisions and build stronger companies.
After years leading analytics, operations, and financial planning for growth-stage brands, Scott saw how small businesses struggled to turn data into actionable insight. He built KPI Direct to change that.
Under his leadership, the firm evolved from a performance-marketing agency into a strategic outsourced-finance partner — helping founder-led companies gain clarity, control, and confidence over their financial performance. Today, Scott serves as a hands-on advisor to clients, guiding them through financial planning and analysis (FP&A), cash flow strategy, and operational improvement with the same analytical rigor that defined KPI Direct’s roots.
Scott holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Maine and an MBA from Marymount University. Known for his approachable style and financial insight, he works closely with clients and their trusted advisors to align financial data with business goals — ensuring every decision is grounded in clarity and built for growth.
Luana Crawford

As KPI Direct’s first employee and now Vice President of Client Services, Luana Crawford brings both depth and drive to every engagement. A seasoned accounting professional, she’s an expert in QuickBooks, management accounting, financial analysis, and financial modeling — designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting financial systems that help business owners make better decisions.
Luana is both a high-octane individual contributor and a trusted leader. She manages and mentors KPI Direct’s team of client-facing Account Managers while remaining deeply involved in day-to-day client work. Her ability to move seamlessly between detailed execution and strategic guidance makes her the “go-to” resource for clients and colleagues alike.
Whether she’s reconciling accounts, refining reporting structures, or architecting process improvements, Luana blends precision with practicality — ensuring every system, report, and workflow serves a clear business purpose. She holds a B.S. in Accounting and an M.S. in Business from Husson University, a foundation that supports her dual strengths as both a hands-on problem solver and a senior-level client advisor. Her leadership reflects KPI Direct’s core philosophy: clear numbers, sound processes, and steady growth start with getting the details right.
